The foundation is a training center that provides seafarers with courses to help them acquire new knowledge, obtain the required skills in an industry that changes constantly and needs new set of skills.
The foundation offers training courses in areas such as safety, security, and environmental awareness, as well as technical training for specific job roles. As far as the specific training the training courses can be divided in four categories:
Approved STCW training courses
Courses to meet industry competence standards
Courses that provide underpinning knowledge and skills on new technologies
Practical courses
The portfolio of the foundation is constantly expanding in order to help seafarers and offer unique learning experiences.
