Inishowen Development Partnership (IDP) is one of 49 Local Development Companies in the Republic of Ireland. It is a publicly funded, not-for profit company with charitable status, limited by guarantee. IDP works closely with a wide range of community, business, public, statutory, and voluntary partners. IDP has successfully delivered rural development and social inclusion programmes and initiatives on behalf of the European Union and the Irish Government for over 25 years, playing a critical role in combating social exclusion, poverty, and unemployment both through the range of programmes currently delivered and through the brokerage and agency role performed at local level.  Â
Our Vision is to be an innovative community leader for Inishowen, empowering its people, promoting our place, and advocating for progress. This is being achieved by promoting community-led, sustainable local development built upon the values of integrity, connectedness, innovation, and inclusivity.

IDEC
IDEC is a training consulting company located in Piraeus, Greece. The services offered span from training, management consulting, quality assurance, evaluation, and development of ICT solutions for the private and public sectors. Â
IDEC is an accredited lifelong learning center and organises in-service training courses for teachers and trainers, study visits, and informal learning activities for students in initial education and training and provides training courses and work placements for students in vocational training and people in the labor market.Â
IDEC has a long-standing experience in European projects, where it has been involved for around 30 years. We have worked under different programs and on different policies, especially in the area of Education and Quality: EQF, ECVET, Europass, EQAVET, validation of non-formal and informal learning, and in national reforms of education and training systems.

Business Development Friesland (BDF) from the Netherlands prepares, develops, designs, and provides practical education to help people and organisations to grow. We take own initiative to do so and we get frequently requested by businesses, schools, universities or governments to support them in their efforts. BDF forms the link between business, education and government and supports organisation in realizing their economic, international and social ambitions. Â
BDF has been involved in the development of a variety of innovative trainings and since the recent development in remote education, has become an expert in applying digital methods and approaches in new and existing business models. E.g. BDF is involved in European projects aiming to help micro entrepreneurs in retail, tourism and hospitality sector to increase competitiveness by supporting the development of their knowledge and skills, and is currently elaborating several training opportunities for established retailers. Furthermore, BDF has provided trainings for youngsters to explore a career path in entrepreneurship, however, is also experienced in consulting existing companies to improve their business model, adapted to the current trends of digitalisation and sustainability.Â

University of Turku
The University of Turku is a multi-disciplinary, international research university with 20,000 students and 3,400 staff members. The Centre for Maritime Studies (CMS) is part of the Brahea Centre, which is one of the five independent units of the University of Turku.
The CMS improves the societal effect of research results, the realization of the principle of lifelong learning, and the university’s interaction with its operational environment. It specialises in maritime and logistics related research and education projects and services, including coastal and maritime tourism related issues, and eLearning. It leads and takes part in various international development, education and research projects, which are aiming, for example, at blue growth, smart and green transport solutions, maritime safety aspects, and transparent, uniform quality of maritime vocational education and training that meets the needs of the industry. The CMS leads and contributes actively to the thematic entity of the Sea and Maritime Studies, which is one of the strategic entities of the University of Turku.
The Centre for Maritime Studies has a large network related to coastal and maritime affairs. It has offices in the Southwest coast of Finland, in the heart of the maritime towns of Turku, Rauma and Pori, right next to the exceptional Archipelago and Bothnian Seas.
